Get ready to bring back the good old days of a country festival.
Held annually the first Saturday after Labor Day, this year’s Festival
is on Saturday, September 11, 2010.

You’ll start the day with a hearty Pancake Breakfast, cooked and served by the Rural Tangent Fire Department, starting at 6:30 a.m.  If you’re up early, head over to the Elementary School to watch Hot Air Balloon Launch, (Sat. and Sun.)
At 10 a.m. we’ll strike up the bands as the Community Parade & Poker Run winds through town. Follow the parade to the Festival Grounds for all the activities, food, music and exhibits. At the end of the day, you’ll be treated to a delicious Steak Barbeque with all the trimmings.
